Keeping in touch is one of the highest priorities of the Parish. We therefore have developed a number of different methods of communicating with Parishioners. We encourage Parishioners to make use of these facilities, and to encourage others to do the same.

Latest News (Blog)

The Latest News section of the website is the place to find announcements, but more importantly, reports of parish events and activities.

To make our Blog work, we are actively looking to form a "Parish Communications Committee". We need parishioners to volunteer to act as reporters, writing up news stories as events happen. We also need official photographers to make records of events that can be published in the Blog. This is a new initiative, so any help we can get would be appreciated.

Newsletter Mailing

The weekly newsletter is the basic vehicle of communicating parish information and notifying parishioners of events. It is available in printed form in the Church each weekend, but we can now send it to you in an email. This is especially useful if you are away for the weekend.

We respect your privacy and have a zero-tolerance to unsolicited spam email. We promise only to use your email address for the weekly newsletter, corrections to mistakes in the newsletter, and occasional urgent messages of events at very short notice. You can, at any time, unsubscribe from the mailing list.

Parish Diary

Our online Parish Diary (powered by Google Calendar) allows parishioners instant access to the main Parish Diary. On the website parishioners can see all the events of the parish including: Masses (with the mass intention); other Services in the Church; meetings in the Parish Centre and parish events.

In addition to providing the Parish Diary on the website, you can also subscribe to our Google Calendar, and make use of many other facilities provided by Google, all for FREE.

Parish Registration and Census

We encourage all parishioners and regular visitors to register, initially on arrival in the parish, and then annually through our Parish Census. Keeping our records up-to-date and free from error is a constant task, especially as information is continually changing.

We respect your privacy and promise to severely restrict access to your personal information. Only those who have a genuine pastoral reason to contact you will be authorised to use this information. All personal information is held and used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
